Warm hospitality and great breakfast. The bathroom could use some updating. Nearby golf course adds to the charm.

The genuine warm reception when we arrived plus the welcome cup of tea or coffee. Mary went out of her way to make sure we would have a happy stay by filling us in with the local tourist sites and restaurants worth visiting. As Derry is quite a hilly city she suggested that we should walk the 15 minutes downhill through the park opposite Rose Park House to the city centre and return by taxi which cost £2-50 which proved an excellent suggestion. The bedroom was bright and very comfortable and the good breakfast set us up for the day. All in all we were very pleased with our stay at Rose Park House. Thanks Mary.
We found nothing wrong.

Curiosity got me
The walk to the city center, though steep, provides fine views and a chance to soak in the local charm. The room was cozy, complemented by a breakfast designed to cater to personal tastes. Will definitely return!

Very homely atmosphere with an accommodating family (for instance they came to where I was parked in the city outskirts, and led me back to the hotel rather than give me directions.

Comfy bed in a well-refurbished room. The breakfast offered a hearty selection, with an option for both cooked and continental dishes.
The strong odor in one room triggered an allergic reaction, pointing to possible issues with cleaning products or mold. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, requiring guests to use the kitchen for drinks, not ideal for everyone.
